At this time trim was no longer being produced by the original manufacturer although the basic raw materials were available. As time went by the materials became obsolete and the only way to get the originalspecification materials was to invest in the machinery to make them. It started with a carpet machine and backing plant to give the original rubber back look, then PVC coating machines for the Hardura and Vinyl’s.

 Plastic injection machines, vacuum forming, and extrusion machines were next for all the plastic parts that had become impossible to obtain like the E type dash tops, radio fascias and carpet studs. Recently BAS has expanded into rubber moulding and is able to produce seat diaphragms and gaskets. BAS are now the largest supplier of the basic materials and finished items to the Jaguar trimming trade throughout the world.

The BAS trim shop has 7 very experienced trimmers who have been with us for an average of 18 years. They produce and fit Jaguar trim every day and without doubt the quality and adherence to originality are second to none.
